The height of the slide is 51 meters 40 centimeters, which roughly corresponds to the height of a 17-story building. To better understand the grandeur of the structure, it can be compared with the Statue of Liberty - the height of the statue itself without a pedestal is 46 meters.
The average speed of descent from the hill is 105 km / h. The extreme attraction is made in the form of a wave - once it is below, the raft with visitors to the water park, due to acceleration, begins to quickly rise to the height of a five-story building.
Unfortunately, an accident is connected with the highest water slide - a 10-year-old boy died while descending from the main attraction of the water park of the Verruckt slide. Since the opening of the attraction, children from only 14 years old and at least 137 cm tall were allowed on it. Probably, later the rules were relaxed. Details of the tragedy, the police did not disclose.
